We’re looking for a friendly and reliable part-time temporary Receptionist to cover Mondays and Tuesdays from 14th May until 10th July 2018 with ongoing occasional evening/weekend cover on a permanent basis.
14th May – 10th July working hours: Monday and Tuesday 8:30am until 5pm with an hour lunch break. You will also be required to cover holiday leave for one Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in June (exact dates to be discussed) and possibly cover any sickness.
Casual ongoing hours: Variable depending on evening meeting bookings (usually from around 5:30 until 9:30pm but could be anytime from 5pm until 11pm) which currently occur approximately once per month but could increase to once per week and may involve occasional weekend working. Any daytime holiday/ sickness cover as required.
Answering and dealing with telephone calls for numerous companies
Dealing with incoming and outgoing post
Greeting and announcing visitors
Taking appointments, managing an online diary and meeting room booking system
Set-up of meeting rooms incl. rearranging furniture
Providing basic help with use of AV equipment etc.
Setup and organise self-serve refreshments and clearing of refreshments at set times
Opening up/ locking meeting room and main building doors
Previous Receptionist experience is essential; however you will receive full training and support from the Business Centre Manager. References for previous key holder responsibilities will be advantageous.
Pay meets the National Minimum / Living Wage with an increased rate of £9.00 per hour for evening shifts.
